People to Help
When you are at Second Life, you can find the Community Dolls Group and see who is online. You can also send out a general message, unless you are just a member.
If you need a winding, mostly anyone in the group will be willing to help you. "Winders" are not dolls but have expressed a willingness to wind.
Some winders just genuinely want to help. Other winders like dolls and are using the winding as a way to get to know you or use you. That's good, right?c
If you run down in a private land, you are in trouble. You cannot teleport out because you are wound down, and if the land is private, probably no one can teleport in. So try to avoid this. If GreigHighlander is online, he probably can teleport you out and then wind you; so can Christina Halpin or whoever your controller is.
Some of our Dollmakers know what kind of doll they like and want to turn you into that doll. They have healthy desires -- none of our Dollmakers want a piece of plastic, they all like personality.
The other Dollmakers do hypnosis.
You might have no idea what kind of doll you want to be, or you might have some idea. Or you might want to be one type of doll for a while and then become a different kind of doll. Anyway, if you have any firm ideas about defining yourself, share them with your Dollmaker before starting. This is important. Hypnotists are trying to help you be what you want to be; other Dollmakers will respect good ways you define yourself.
You can find Dollmakers listed in the group. Check their profile and IM them if you are interested.
I am glad to try to help with anything. I can also try to fix your key if it isn't working right. (Christina Halpin)
